Overview
As part of its initial team build, Syvaré Capital is seeking a Research Analyst to support advisory and analytical work across live and developing mandates. The role is designed for a graduate or early career professional who is highly analytical, detail oriented and comfortable working with complex information.
The Research Analyst will work closely with senior team members, supporting research, analysis and preparation of written materials that inform decision making across SMEs, real estate and investment related topics.
Role Description
The Research Analyst will support senior team members through structured research, data analysis and preparation of written materials. The role requires strong analytical capability, precision in written communication and the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, decision ready insight.
This is a hands on role with real exposure to advisory work rather than a purely administrative position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market, sector and company level research across SMEs, real estate and investment related themes
- Analyse publicly available data, reports and financial information
- Support preparation of research notes, internal briefings and advisory documentation
- Assist with operational and financial assessments under guidance from senior team members
- Maintain research files, data integrity and internal documentation standards
Skills and Capabilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
- High standard of written English with clear and concise expression
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
- Professional judgement, discretion and reliability
Technical and Software Skills
Candidates should be comfortable working with the following tools or demonstrate a strong aptitude to learn them quickly.
- Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, PivotTables, data analysis and basic financial modelling
- Microsoft PowerPoint for structured advisory decks and executive briefing materials
- Microsoft Word for professional research documentation and reports
- Microsoft Outlook for professional communication and coordination
- Google Workspace including Google Sheets and Google Docs for collaborative research and analysis
- Power BI or Tableau for basic data visualisation and insight presentation
Familiarity with the following is advantageous but not essential.
- Capital IQ, Refinitiv Eikon or Bloomberg Terminal
- Companies House and Office for National Statistics databases for UK corporate and economic research
- PitchBook or Crunchbase for company and market analysis
- Basic understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis and operational metrics

We are seeking an experienced accountant who is fully authorised and competent to submit statutory accounts and tax filings directly to HMRC. This role is designed for a senior professional capable of independently managing compliance, submissions, and tax consultation across a client portfolio.
Role Overview
You will take full responsibility for accounting delivery and statutory compliance for assigned clients. This includes preparation, review, and direct submission of accounts and tax filings to HMRC, alongside ongoing tax consultation and professional client support.
This is a senior responsibility role requiring accuracy, sound judgement, and adherence to high regulatory and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- End to end accounting management for a portfolio of clients
- Preparation and direct submission of statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax filings to HMRC
- Delivery of tax consultation including corporation tax and VAT advisory
- Maintenance of compliant documentation, audit trails, and supporting schedules
- Professional handling of HMRC correspondence and compliance queries
- Participation in structured virtual review meetings every two weeks
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Proven experience independently submitting statutory accounts and tax filings to HMRC
- Recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations
- Demonstrated experience providing tax consultation and compliance advice
- High level of professional judgement, accuracy, and accountability
- Proficiency with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Legal Right to Work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to operate independently within a structured, MNC-grade compliance framework
